Il Progetto

Rationale

By studying and researching into the past, and comparing the different countries, the project aims at considering the common roots that unite the multicultural European community and make students realize that we are not so different from each other. Under the hypothesis that the different European cultures are connected in some way by similar links, the project aims at developing students’ awareness of belonging to a common Europe, without renouncing their own identity and culture. For teachers and schools, this project is an opportunity to exchange experiences and good practice with partner schools and realize the importance of intercultural education in our schools, to facilitate a better understanding between the future European citizens.

The project is useful for building bridges between different countries, giving participants the opportunity to have a deep knowledge of their culture, language and traditions. Through a better understanding of other cultures, the project aims at developing the value of empathy and belonging to a united Europe.
